It appears that the Celtics' organization has taken a 180 on Sam...

All rumors seem to express the idea that the Celtics do NOT want him back?  I wonder why...

It appeared that he was only on the roster originally because he invited himself back (which seemed awfully awkward and a bit odd).  But if this guy is so beneficial, why not bring him back to the team?

I wonder if there's something more to this...not trying to make a big stink out of it, just curious as if to why this might be.

there are a number of basketball/sports sites stating that cassell will not be going back to boston...no reason provided, but stating it as "fact."

i think that Sam is done playing, i think he'll sign on as part of the coaching staff. Rondo and him looked like they were starting to grow a nice relationship.
