If he is out for some games let alone season then the season is over.  But, I still am asking the question: "What did Patrick O´Bryant do to Doc Rivers"???? ??? Even if I had a 7 foot HORSE on my bench I would put it in the game but obviously Doc knows better.

Yeah, Doc is such a hater, he never gave a chance to the kid. Just like Don Nelson, another knucklehead who hated on poor POB for no reason. Freaking coincidence; there's no chance Jay Triano also holds a personal grudge against such a nice player and competitor like POB, he'll get plenty of minutes in Toronto for sure.

so what now? doc sounds like they want to shut garnett down for awhile but if they do that boston won't get home court in the east. it is being labled a knee strain...again...a western roadie that goes in the tank because of injury...

It really doesn't matter. If we play KG now and he does further damage and we lose him for the playoffs, whether we have HCA or not is irrelevant.
If KG can rest now and actually recover, even if we don't have the best record, we will be in a better situation come playoff time.
Let's just hope he can recover and come back some time this season.

Not to be a harbinger of doom, but that injury kind of reminded me of Chris Webber's injury in the 2003 Western semis. It didn't really look bad, but all of a sudden he pulled up lame. Then he tried to come back on it, but couldn't and eventually got shut down and needed microfracture surgery (and was never the same). Obviously I hope it's just a strain, but that's what it reminded me of.

I had the exact same thought. Probably also came to mind because I thought the Kings were going to win the title that year before he got hurt. Just like I thought about the C's this year.....
