Two games under Alvin Gentry, and they've scored 140 and 142 points.  Granted, both games were against a depleted (and terrible) Clippers squad, but averaging 141 points per game is impressive, no matter what.

Amare has to be happy.  42 points tonight, on 75% shooting.

This is how the Suns should be playing; they're a roster full of offensive-minded players, and getting them to play half-court basketball made no sense.  With the roster construction they have now, the only way they're going to win games is to run other teams off the court.

All the negativity in this town sucks. It sucks, and it stinks, and it sucks. - Rick Pitino

  • You know my methods, Watson.
and had they just kept d'antoni they'd have saved themselves a headache.

this team is made to run...it was foolish to try to make them into something different.  now, will they win a title?  no, probably not.

but kerr has egg on his face as he's right back where he started.

Again, it's the clippers but you have to believe these will be some good confidence and momentum builders.  It's good to see the Suns playing like this again.  Always was a fan of that team.

I think they're back in the sense that Amare now wants to stay there and be a part of the team.  I also agree that I want to see them put up some numbers against a real NBA team besides the Clippers.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

We are 44-11 and the current NBA champions. I don't think we should fear anyone. Just respect every single team in the league. C's can and will possibly win this one

Haha, you've got a very good point there :)

But honestly, if anyone should beat us, I'd like it to be the Suns. They're the only team that I would like to see play well against us. Can't put my finger on it, perhaps it's Steve, or Amar'e, or just the general idea of a 'run and gun' team. 07 Seconds or less makes for a good show, any day of the week :D
