Randolph only suspended two days

I'm disappointed in the decision. I think standing over Amundson and taunting him while he is on the ground and then punching him in the face after he stands up warrants a long vacation for the Zach-master. I thought for sure the suspension would resemble Carmelo Anthony's sucker punch suspension (especially considering Zach's history), but instead it was closer to KG's little flail on Bogut. I don't understand Stu Jackson's line of reasoning at all.

Yea I think this was a ridiculously light suspension.  He should have seen a much longer suspension...

I cant believe it is only 2 game suspension for throwing a punch and connecting (and the taunting...)

The league is so inconsistent. KG to even get suspended for what he did was a joke and now Randolph who did something worse only gets one extra game of suspension? If so, they should be apologizing to KG for suspending him. Where is the NBA's logic here?

The fight didn't escalate, that's why the suspension was so short.

I thought the league would give him a 3 or 4 game suspension, but I'm happy with the 2 game verdict. I don't like the long suspensions over nonsense issues/fights.

Well, I'm not sure we can call out the league for inconsistency if nobody is citing other similar fights.

yea...but it should be lengthier.  1 game for leaving the bench, 2 if you punch someone in the face...that's kind of stupid.  and if his teammates had escalated it into a 'brawl' we would have seen much lengthier...thats kind of stupid.

It's probably stupid, but it's fairly consistent.  One-on-one fights bring suspensions between one and three games, it seems like.  It's only the brawls -- that get played all over the news on non-sports stations -- that bring lengthier suspensions.

Should be at least ten games or zero, meaning stay with the weenie league, or go back to the good old days. By the way, how int he world did Amundson not go after him? That's the problem, if Amundson goes after him and escalates it, Randork probably gets a 10 game suspension and Amundson gets suspended a game or two for being punched and not liking it. There has to be a better balance.
