That takes the Rockets out of the running for a Title, unless they can pull off that Vince Carter trade that they've been linked to for a couple of weeks.

Any trade for Vince Carter would cut the depth of their team and also remove them from title consideration. Their only hope was a T-Mac for Carter trade, which obviously isn't going to happen now.

Maybe they should trade T-Whack to the Wizahds and let the insurance money/Obama stimulus package pay off T-Whach and provide relief on the Wizards salary burden.

I wrote a fanpost saying how it looks like T-Mac is envoking his own no trade clause by announcing he is going under the knife to a reporter instead of going to the team doctor first.  http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3916786.  Adleman certainly is p---ed.  There were tons of rumors swirling around about a TMac for VC deal, which probably prompted him to sabotage negotiations.
