Geez, so many whining and excuses. We lost because the offensive execution in the 4th was pathetic.

If I could slap you around like that you wouldn't score many buckets either.

You are right. If the Celtics had just made their free throws they win. However, the refereeing was horrendous tonight. No one knew what was and what was not a foul. The league right now is a joke due to the officiating.

The officiating was fine in this game. The Celtics just got out played. People on this blog need to know when to take their losses. If Pierce didn't stink so badly tonight I'm certain the Celtics would have won.

People will look at the number of foul shots taken by each side and think it was a fairly reffed game. But, how many offensive fouls did they have called against them? Of course, once again we lead the world in turnovers with 19, and that doesn't help.

I think the celtics should be disgusted with whatever that just was, refs were bad from start to finish but the calls evened out in the end...the celtics turned the ball over at will, missed free throws, passed to pierce and prayed...whatever I just watched made me ill, maybe because its 1-30 in the morning, the celtics just lost a game they shouldve won in which KG got hurt, but that team i just watched sucked and isnt good enough to repeat, and its the same old story really, turnovers, terrible offense and putrid officating

Did you watch the game? The officiating was fine? Did you see how many offensive fouls the C's had called on them? I never complain about the refs, but the inconsistency tonight was ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. 30 fouls against the Celtics and 18 against Utah. If you think the refs were fine tonight, you didn't watch the game.

I hope you are kidding. What game were you watching? 30 PF for the Celtics only 18 for Utah.

They lost the game. That's all. Like it was already mentioned, let's hope KG is OK. That is what is important and also Pierce seemed to be limping a bit. The other thing is that Danny is able to add a couple of new pieces who will help us.

Normally I try not to put everything on the refs, but I can not agree with your assessment, they cost the C's the game tonight.

30 fouls called on the Celtics, 18 on Utah. How is that even?

Glad you mentioned Danny. I hope he made space on the roster for a good reason.

  • Let's Go Celtics
Why does this game have anything to do with who makes it to the finals?

This looks like a Lakers board right now.  The refs were bad, so weren't we in the fourth, and from the line, and turning the ball over.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Hey cordobes, will you at least admit that the
refs didn't help? Like I said earlier I've
made it a point not to complain about the
refs. But this was RIDICULOUS. Stern and
the entire league is becoming more and more
of a joke. The WWE of basketball. It sucks.
I don't mind losing to a better team but even
without KG there's no way Utah beats us if
not for Bavatta and those other refs. *sigh*
Btw, I'd still be complaining even if we had
won the game. Now I'll be off to Facebook to
create a "The NBA needs better refs - NOW!!!" group.

Sleep tight, fellas...

KG is hurt, Pierce looked like he was jogging in mud, and ray allen couldnt hit the broad side of a barn and was turning the ball over left and right..we have no backup point guard who we can trust and noone taller than 6'7 on the bench

the worst part about this game? Utah played absolutely terrible the entire game
