1) eddie is not a pg...he will be severely under-utilized until we have a backup pg...eddie is best when running the open floor or when spotting up...

2)i love the way rondo gets to the rim but i do not see the proper spacing or movement off the ball where he can dump it off to someone for a layup...how many times do we see him dribble under the backboard...out to the corner and then back to the top...that is not his fault...

3) kg is not a back to the backboard post up player...however...why not try a back pick...or i don't see people cutting down the lane enough...

4)and my pet peeve...we start the offense at the top of the key with kg, kp or bbd...then we swing the ball to the left to pp or ray...invariably they are double teamed and have to dribble and fight thru the trap...what really gets me is that then kp or bbd amble over to set a pick when it is too late...it is simple give and go basketball...go set the pick immediately and crisply...in the meantime...there is no off the ball movement...no one down on the blocks...everyone is spaced out all the way around the 3 point line...this forces either pp or ray to take one or two defenders down the lane where the defenders are sitting back waiting for them...or worse yet...it forces us to depend on our outside shooting...you can't do that...if kg's shot doesn't rattle in then out when we are up by 3 then we win the game...but you can't always depend on our outside shots

While I've got my complaints - and Eddie being under-utilized once more as an off-guard is one of them - I'm going to go ahead and shy away from going so far as "I don't like our offense" given the fact that it is still ranked fourth in the league.

We need another ball handler who can distribute. I like Pruitt but if they're not going to play him they need to sign someone with handles.

KG isn't a back to the backboard post-up player? what are you talking about?

the only thing that i agree with is that Eddie shouldn't be handling the ball, hell Rondo is 23 years old, let him run the second unit a little too.

I think Rondo needs to play more but we still need another point.

I just don't like the offense when House and TA are out there together.

When either of them is out there with other ball handlers, both can be successful.

House without the ball can find openings in the defense and hit open shots.

TA without the ball can get the ball in a position moving towards the basket and put the ball up with no more then two dribbles.

Its fun how doc just needed one good game from House ( granted he have another agood one after that) to not play pruitt anymore, specially when Pruitt was fighting minutes with him at the PG, not that pruitt did anything wrong.

Conclusion: I know I am of the minoirty here and all people think Docs a superstar but count me with the ones who thing he lacks idea of how toi use the youngs and how to make them fit if needed.

The abhysal diference between Vets and Rookies in this team is killing us and that gap is mostly generated by lack of playing time. If its true we have to have a small rotation at least that small rotation have to be people playing in their natural positions, with players that compliment their strenghts....

What bothers me is that House was getting better looks when he was playing next to Pruitt vs TA.

Even when i hate to see pruitt next to House this is true
I rather have a pruitt ray a pruitt pierce or a pruitt TA backourt.

The starting 5 is usually very efficient on the offense. The offense seems to stagnate when Rondo isn't on the floor and when the bench is out there because their ball movement isn't that good. I don't want to blame TA and Leon entirely but they are the main culprits I can see. I think Gabe needs to be re-inserted into the rotation just to play Eddie off the ball. His shooting has been sub-par so far but at least he's a better perimeter threat to spread the floor than TA. TA only needs to be out there with Rondo and 2 of the Big 3.

The problem is you can't play Powe, BBD, House, and T. Allen at the same time.

You can play any of those guys with the four starters and be fine. House can play PG when Allen and Pierce are there to help create. T. Allen or House can step in at SG when Rondo is there. Powe looks good next to KG and okay with Perk out there, ditto BBD.

Doc seems like he only wants the starters to come out and go in once. As long as that's the case, it's going to be difficult in the regular season to prevent the four bench player rotation. As an alternative, he may need to consider going with Perk or Ray Allen off the bench. Then he could stagger the rotation so he always has 4 of the better 5 players on the floor.

Exactly, though I don't agree with Perk/Allen off the bench, I do understand where you're coming from.  I've said this for a while, in the NBA, you cannot have a full second unit.  He needs to start staggering them.  In my opinion, there shouldn't be a time when either Ray Allen or Paul Pierce is not on the court.  Doc needs to start making these rotations better, I know it's difficult because we don't really have the option of having a small ball line up, but I just think Doc could do this better.  I think Doc is a great player's coach, great with the media, great in practice with these guys, he prepares them very well, but I do not think he's a very good in game coach.  I'm not trying to get on Doc, I'm not blaming these two losses on him, but I am blaming rotations on him.  Having TA and House out there as the primary offensive options is just foolish, these guys do not create good shots for themselves, they need other people around them to help.  I think you'll see things get different in the playoffs, but who knows.

Have to agree. TA made a few hustle plays; but the offense ground to a halt every time he touched the ball. Was very painful to watch - not to mention the uncontested air ball 3. Sure he score some buckets; but he really was horrible. Have not seen enough of Pruitt; but have seen more than enough of TA to know that we need a change. Was disappointed when we renewed his contract and have not seen anything to change my mind. Not only is he taking minutes from Pruitt; but also Walker. Spurs were playing Hill big minutes. Why can't our young guys get a chance.
