I don't think it is likely, but if either Leon Powe or BBD are traded for a legit C or guard , would you want Antoine Walker back as insurance as the 3d PF behind Scal and KG? I say yes  ,but of course it would depend on the shape he is in. I think if he was at the playing weight he was in when Miami won the championship in 06' (which was 240lbs) then he could be an insurance policy in case Scal goes down with another Concussion. He has plenty of playoff and championship experience , plus  there isn't much else out there for big men to sign , unless PJ somehow comes back ....

If Walker is in 2006 shape, then he'd be our 6th man, and i'd sign him in a heart beat.

If he is in 2008 shape... well, i think he's done :-/ ...and i'll pass. So sad that he went down hill so fast.

I'll always want Antoine on the Celtics. It's irrational, but I don't care.

he's done.

loved him as a Celtic as I did every player (except maybe Michael Smith and Blount post-contract) but he wouldn't be able to beat out a healthy Veal for time.  no thanks.

No thanks to Toine. We need a player, not a memory.

He can have a seat behind the bench for a few games, that's about it for me.

I think Walker might be able to fit in Thomas Hamilton's old jersey. So no thanks.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Walker is better than Scal...I don't hate Scaql...as a person, but I don't want him out there. He is actually A Walker jr.....Scal's sneakers are allergic to paint, he never goes in the paint.......just like A Walker, he thinks he should shhot 3's, but we need R'eees (rebounds) If walker could ever play his position, but we really don't need him....How about getting someone from Milwaukee.....other teams are grabbing all they have....I would try Pollard to a 10 day contract, how is Darius Miles doing on Memphis.....lets get gasol's brother..LOL...!

Scal 100% belongs out there and if you can't see that than you need to wake up. there is a reason why Antoine isn't playing, and Antoine is one of my all time favorite players.

Scal allows better spacing for the big 3 than perk, someone has to follow him outside and leave single coverage for Ray KG and Paul, and if they double one of them then they can make the open shots.

also, as we've seen over the past 2 seasons, Scal can be a reliable smart fill in for Pierce, Garnett, AND Perk.

I love 'Toine as much as the next guy but I doubt he can contribute to our team, unless he's towel waving.

How old and fat does 'Toine need to be for people to stop making threads about bringing him back? I say 44 years old and 290 lbs.
