Home court advantage for the NBA Finals???

I couldn't care less if the C's have homecourt for the finals.  First of all, they need to get there, but I also think homecourt in the finals is much less important than in the Conference playoffs, because of the 2-3-2 format.  That does a lot to level the playing field.

Lakers need to leave that home court arguments for teams that took the Celtics to 7. They could have lost in 5.
I agree there are many more games to be played and there's not guarantee it'll be a finals rematch. Celtics have to go though the Cavs and the Spurs haven't made much noise this season but they could still win the West. I'm sure they haven't forgotten that no-call on Fisher.

Would not be surprised if there was. LOL. Apparently they think they are entitled to get to the finals, I'd love for another team to knock them out of the playoffs not because I don't think the C's can beat them if the C's make it but because no team is entitled to a finals berth before you actually earn it.

Agreed, no homecourt in a 2-2-1-1-1 against cleveland would be way more devastating than no homecourt in a 2-3-2 against LAL because of that game 5.

OK, ever since last night's game I have heard so much about home court in the finals, and how last night's game has effected it. A lot of Laker fans seem to be confused about this as well, at least from what I have been reading online today. For any one that doesn't know, and I am pretty sure most of us here do, the Lakers won the tie breaker last night, that is all. Today I have read so much stuff, albeit mainly on Laker boards about how when the teams meet in the finals the Lakers have locked in homecourt. If the Celtics have a better record at the end of the season, and they will, the Lakers will have to come here for four out of seven and lose the finals again.
