Attention NBA "Live" loyalists... The war is over.

I've been with EA from 1991 - 2009 (I bought NBA live 09 and sold it on Ebay) 2k9 is more in depth in every fascist of the game. The only possible debate is over graphics (which is close either way). If you are still with NBA live let me ask you... why? Loyalty is the only reason I can come up with.

Live has been a joke for a few years now, it's like they're not even trying to compete.

Can't even defend his own country, how is he supposed to defend Kobe?

Actually, Castro is probably the most successful in terms of staying in power and defending his country. Maybe we'll bring Saddam Hussein in a 6th man and pick up Bin laden as a role player.

I think Franco would be a versatile role player and Khomani as a back up Big.

Since we're on the 2k topic. Does anyone else find it really difficult to hit jumpshots? I've played 2k since Iverson was on the cover (I think that's 2003, anyways years.), but the last two years it's been really difficult. I think the signature shot has a lot to do with it, but it seems amazingly difficult this time around. I used to be a guy that would stop at the 3point line on a fast break and knock them down, but now taking any type of shot is generally a bad idea.

The game is trying to be more realistic. So shooting over 50% is probably not going to happen without increasing your shooting sliders.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

its the signature shot, you really have to know your players.

I agree its annoying as heck when your playing pickup (like i remember roy's shot animation that well) but in franchise i think it really adds depth and makes guys "your" guys. with the celtics, im deadly with any jumpshooter (whos good)

I do agree though, when me and my buddies are just playing random team on random team, it a pain, i spend the whole first quarter finding guys release points.

Good choice. NBA 2k has been the best since 2k5.

The last good NBA Live was NBA Live 2005.  After that they were terrible.  It has been the 2k series for me ever since then.
