I voted Celtics, by less than ten.  I think it will be more comfortable than a heart attack, but I'm predicting that it stays in single digits.  Somewhere around an 8 point win, maybe.

I thought the perfect symbolic score would be Boston by 18.  Boo yeah!

You are probably not very far off. Do you think we have control and look good throughout though?

I see it as we jump on them hard in the second to get a big lead and then hold off a late charge.  Just a hunch.

This all depends on the health of the team.  I would expect KG to be 100%.  The flu doesn't take that long to recover from, but Doc has made it sound like he was in rough shape.  If we have KG out there not being able to play at his normal 100-mph self, than it could hurt the team.  I'm also wondering how Ray is feeling today as well.

But if all the players are feeling good, we should be able to take care of business. This is the 2nd night of back-to-backs for the Lakers, and Kobe is coming off 2 huge scoring performances.  He's gotta be a little tired.  Rondo needs to push the ball all night and the rest of the players need to run with him.  And get physical with the Lakers.  You push them around, and they cower in fear the rest of the game.

Now, we did call for an honest gut feeling vote here.  Are you telling me that there are two human beings on this blog that actually both believe the Lakers are blowing the Celtics out at home?

Based on what?

Finally, one of our own calling for a blowout of Kobe the Rapist and the Fakers.   ;D

At least this prediction has some merit (see Game 6 of the 2008 Finals).

it depends on KG, but also depends on how well the team can adjust to him coming back.

Kinda a crazy coincidence, actually.    Last year KG missed some games with his injury.  When he finally returned the Celtics were 41-9.   Exactly like they are right now...

But obviously his arrival threw them off, because they ended up dropping 3 in a row.  Hopefully they don't do the exact same thing this year.   They have some really tough games coming up.

I'm with Roy on this one... I chose the middle Celtics win option because I didn't think heart attack applied, but it won't be too high a margin of victory IMO.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."
