im sure this was discussed earlier....but im very happy we get a break from Gary Paytons big mouth

I specifically avoided watching any kind of pregame b/c i didnt want to hear him talk.

.....on the other hand.  Karl Malone and Willie Mays speach skills are oddly similar.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
It seems that Kenny Smith has never heard of Paul Pierce.

Well, Pierce is only a 7 time all-star and a former finals MVP, why would a guy like Kenny who's been on TNT for years as an NBA analyst know about him?  ;D

People overlooking Paul Pierce will forever frustrate me.

Pierce came into the League saying he wanted to show up all the teams that passed on him in the draft.  And he's played with a chip on his shoulder ever since.  I say keep that fire burning baby!

Yup, he's gotta be more aggressive, hes forced alot of bad passes when he shouldve been looking to score

Pierce taking over would be nice but besides turnovers we're actually playing good team ball on offense.

what we really need is for our DEFENSE to take over.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
So who was the better PF Barkley or Malone?

I say McHale.  ;D

Of the aforementioned 2, I really am having a tough time choosing.

Kudos on the McHale comment.

of the two id definetly take Malone, he was a more complete player in my opinion

That was a very enjoyable first half. Very good game.

The Celtics are in good position to win this one. They're performing as team, while the Lakers are being held together by Bryant/Gasol and are failing to get quality contributions from several players.

they comment on Rondo's bad shot, they don't mention the fact that it was caused by the foul, probably because it wasn't called.

Rondo gets no calls from the refs.

The only time he gets a call is when the defense puts him on his ass.
