True, but Pierce got the D to collapse on him and then kicked perfectly to Ray. And Ray had a little part in it as well!!

Pierce was da bomb tonight baby, and that pass was awesome

  • The good ole days.
This is fun...

Imagine KG watching that game at home.... I bed he went bonkers when Ray made that shot.  "YESSS!!!! owwww YES!! [expletive] [expletive] [expletive] Ray you [expletive] expletive]! [dang] I love this [expletive] team! oww owwwww.  Woooo [expletive]!!"

(Sorry if that counts as masked profanity... I don't think it does, but not my call)

Such a great play to finish the game, any time you get the best shooter in the entire league a wide open look, great job. Thursday is gonna be great, KG is gonna be so amped, he would have to have a fever of 110 not to play.

Ray Allen = All Star

Yah brother. But you know Doc is stubborn man & genius for that play.

Thank god for Big Baby. He came up huge with those offensive boards and the jumper. Paul and Ray really stepped up in the clutch...so glad the last shot went to Ray and not E House :)

It feels like we beat three teams tonight -- the Sixers, the refs, and ourselves.

No kidding!  The Sixers played well, though.  I do have to commend Iggy on that shot he made with 6 secs left.

Big baby was absolutely phenomanal tonight, and he set that screen to get ray free too

The jumper was BIG. Stars hit those type of shots.
What a possession that was. Paul and Ray rush a couple of threes, Baby gets both offensive boards, and then nails a jumper to make it a one possession game, and keep the Celtics in the game. Yeah Big Baby!

Eddie House - for THREEEEEEE!

Okay,

I have a confession.

Ray Allen is my favorite Celtic in the last 15 years.  I love the guy, I simply love him.
Call me a sap, but I love my kids more than anything!

TPs all around. :)

Ok, I think I got everybody I could find. Great win, now let's take down Kobe. :)
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Only thing I am worried about is last year when KG returned from injury his shot was off for a couple games and his wind was not there. Hopefully because the layoff isn't as long it won't be as bad as last year.

Big Baby is NASTY, come playoff time that shot is going to come into play. So is Scal coming in for Perk to spread the floor. So is Eddie House playing WITH Rajon Rondo.

on another note: TA is good after he sits and watches for a couple games. i thought he did good tonight.

Too bad the celtics are sick and a little banged up/rusty going into a game against the lakers with another win streak at stake..bad timing

I hope everyone stays home tomorrow and gets lots of rest, except for KG who I hope will be over the flu and working out with Doc and the rest of the staff.
