Why is everyone surprised Ray Allen was rejected?

I mean Ray is not as good as Paul Pierce, Danny Granger, or Joe Johnson. One on one Ray would prolly lose to all 3 of them. I also think it's a complete joke that Rondo is considered an all-star when he just an average NBA point guard. Rondo plays well against the Wizards, Nets, and Raptors but he gets beat up by the Lakers, Nuggets, and Caveliers. I'm glad the NBA agrees with me.
