Good win.

Perkins is going to get suspended me thinks. Hopefully only for the Minnesota game, although (cue the conspiracy, they might make it 3 so he misses the Lakers game).

If so. this league is a joke...
Maxiell shoved perk and then punched rondo in the shoulder...why wasnt he ejected?
And if perk is suspended, why wasnt bynum for that foul last week?
seriously the league is an absolute joke if he gets anything but fined

I'm surprised he wasn't ejected for the shove and punch. I agree the league can't suspend Perk in good conscience but then again when has good conscience stopped them before?
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I just wish they were consistent with suspensions. They are wildly inconsistent and it seems no matter what if the Celtics are involved someone will for sure be suspended. They could avoid all this by at least being consistent. Won't happen with Stern and his henchmen though it seems.

I don't think Perkins deserves a suspension, I just think one is coming.

If Bynum got suspended last week...Id be fine with perk getting suspended(although he did get ejected and bynum of course didnt)...the plays were pretty similar in my eyes, except maxiell retaliated and wasnt hurt
So if perk gets suspended theres something terribly wrong here.
Maxiell deserves a fine and/or suspension, period...he punched rondo

Great win. Now Pistons take all that frustration and crush the Cavs on Sunday  ;D

Who saw Eddie call for the ball after TA's rebound and TA wave him off and Eddie get all p---ed?! That was kind of funny. Shows you how quickly TA slips back into thinking he is the star and needs to have the ball all the time. He did hit a very nice reverse and his free throws, but was much more out of control on the drives again. Someone quick... Help him roll his ankle again.

7 rebounds in 11 minutes and you think he played poorly?! He was extremely physical out there bodying guys up on defense and the boards speak for themselves. In 19 minutes BBD had 3 of them. I don't think BBD played poorly, however he wasn't as impressive tonight as he has been a few games recently. He had one good basket and not a lot else. Nothing to brag about. Why does them complimenting Powe have to be a knock on BBD?!

Because they always knock on BBD, every single week and talk about powe over baby all the time, I just happen to disagree
and powe was terrible
BBD had 3 rebounds, 2 of which were huge offensive boards at the end, and a big bucket at the end too...Powe just cant score anymore, 1 pt testifies to that, the boxscore says 1 TO, but it seemed like he turned it over 10 times...I didnt see any signs of him breaking out of the slump...the shot clock was down and he just charged down the lane when he had a wide open shot...just take the shot leon! shot clock vialation, it also seemed like he threw it out of bounds a couple times

Big baby wasnt great tonight, but hes been better recently, and they never give him credit, he was also clutch tonight...sorry it just irks me to give leon credit for playing good, when hes not - and turnaround and laugh at baby

I didn't think that Powe was awful.  But he didn't have the impact BBD had tonight.  BBD has lately been getting into his move or shot a little more quickly and it is paying off.

If you can't give Powe props for an outrageous 7 boards in 11 minutes then you just don't like the guy. Plain and simple. Bigs are also not as used to looking at the shot clock as the guys with the ball, so he likely felt he had another couple seconds. He was getting the ball to BBD wide open on the baseline. Trying to make a smart play...

How on earth did they "laugh at baby" when you said they didn't even mention him. Your post makes absolutely no sense at all and you are just making things up to support your hatred of Powe and your man crush on BBD.

I Like powe...I dont like his play as of late, thats all
None of his rebounds stick out to me tonight either... but yeah 7 in 11 is good, everyting else was bad

And the reason it may seem like I  dislike powe is because Im the only one whos critical of him, meanwhile everyone else is always critical of baby while always giving leon a break, i try to stray from the norm I guess...Its obvious the coaching staff agrees though

Maybe you went to the kitchen in those 11 minutes?! He got so many so fast it would have been easy to miss.

Powe has been playing offensively very poor the last few weeks, but he is averaging at career levels in almost every single category. He is shooting about 50% from the floor and plays very hard out there. The guy never complains, and is dependable. BBD on the other hand has many of his stat categories down, especially his shooting %, and is playing more minutes to keep his points and rebounds at the same levels as last year. I think he has been playing better this last few weeks than earlier in the year, but let's not over do it.

In almost 2 minutes a game more, BBD is averaging 25% less points, almost 1 full rebound less, and shooting about 10% worse fg% than Powe is. He is also committing more fouls. I think the numbers are pretty clear why people are harder on BBD. If he keeps his recent trend up, then that gap should shrink, however it is pretty obvious why people like Powe. It's very easy to like a guy who is 100% devoted to being as good as he can and much tougher to get behind a guy that is wasting potential due to poor off the court eating habits...

1-0 with the laptop!

Not sure if I like it while watching the game...overload
Try watching it with a girl who's a basketball fan (played a lot) and enjoys needling me about the C's a bit too much.

Lots of "they're only up 5 whats wrong" and laughing after I would get annoyed with a bad play.

To be fair it was more fun to mock how the Hornets let their game slip away with her there.
