THERE'S EDDIE MANSION!

I'm liking BBD's play right now.  He seems to be involved everywhere.

so sick of nba post 2000 in which players aren't allowed to play hard. call me nostalgic but i miss the 70's and 80's (and some of the 90's) where players could regulate themselves. always appreciated the purpose of a hard foul without the ref's jumping in at all times. yeah a bit unnecesary from Perk but it was not that bad. seen much worse go unpunished. goes both ways. if thats done to a celtic don't want to see hyper sensitive ref's but let the players handle it on the court. end rant.

I Miss the bloody games!

That's a Flagrant 2, but Maxiell punched Rondo in the chest, he should be gone too.  And Perk should be better than that.

and was mcchale better than that against rambis which turned a game and a series and led to a banner? there is a place in basketball for hard fouls. and even cheap shots at times.

Can't possibly be suspended for more than 2 games, given this: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3176322

Right?

EDIT: Well [dang], doesn't Perk's foul look every bit like the McHale game changer now?

I agree with you (and Brickowski) about that the lack of tough play in modern NBA.  However, Perk really didn't need to do that, ESPECIALLY with the way the game has been officiated.

It would not be good for another brawl in the Palace.

if he is suspended the league is an absolute joke. that play was not even close to suspension worthy.

Spoke too soon.

God, I hate bank shots. They always look so bad and then it's a "...Oh...[dang]..." moment.

of course not for the leagues rep. but i don't think there is anyone on the court, or bench, here who is a loose enough cannon to go into the crowd. let the players settle things on the court.

and of course didn't _need_ to do that but i miss the nba where at times the unnecesary is and over the top is part of the game because it was about players not refs.
