I am going to school in NC so i get the Bobcats games now so I watched the second half and over times.
I will just add my two cents on it. The Bobcats won that game there is no the Lakers lost or anything like that the Bobcats played great basketball.

I was actually impressed by the lakers play (maybe because i was so happy that they were losing) but they battled back a few times and although Bobcats should have put it away in regulation (missed 7 straight FT's in 4th) they did regroup to play solid in overtime

And lastly i had no idea that Boris Diaw was that good. I knew he was a good role player but he completely tok over that game. Lakers could not match up with him at all and it was really fun to watch him take over.

I was so excited that they lost and I wanted to see who else got to join in on the excitement last night

Yeah I watched and enjoyed that game...And I knew Boris Diaw was that good...its crazy how impressed you can be with a guy who goes 8-24 from the field, but his game is just very enjoyable imo..he and Raja Bell both are flourishing away from the suns in more minutes

Bobcats redeemed themselves for beating us  :D, but no, when they arent playing us I enjoy watching them play, underrated team.
Its too bad about Gerald Wallace though, Possible collapsed lung and Broken Rib from that cheap shot from Bynum

Bobcats are playing good basketball at the moment. On the otherhand i still see a Lakers team who can't function well with Kobe off the court for  long periods of time.

I saw most of the 4th and the 2 OTs and I agree.  The Bobcats had them beaten in regulation, but missed 5 FT attempts to seal the game.  I thought it was over until Kobe Bryant fouled out.  At that point, the Fakers crumbled and could not execute for squat on either end.  This game just proved what we already knew...if Kobe is not on the floor, the Lakers are 1/2 a team and Larry Brown can flat out coach.

I dont know, they've maintained just fine with Kobe on the bench most of the season, unlike the Cavaliers and Lebron...sure it looked that way last night but the bobcats just simply outplayed the lakers the entire night, and they were without Gerald for the end of the 4th and both overtimes, so theres no excuse for the lakers, although Im sure the lakers fans are whining nationwide about the refs this morning, but kobe had 4 quarters and most of that 1st overtime to do something about it, period

What drugs  is Lamar Odom on? looked like cocaine last night...hes one of the most annoying players in the league, hes a left-handed, bigger Tony Allen with a giant ego bigger than his head
Is Pau Gasol the ugliest professional athlete of all time?, I dont know but I have a hard time even looking at the guy

I flipped on ESPN this morning and the highlights of the game were labeled under "stunning upset"... i mean really, they beat the celtics a couple weeks ago, but when they beat the lakers its a stunning upset? haha I found that funny

i love watching the bobcats.  i like alot of their young talent and think there are starting to come into there own, especially if they get one or two more pieces.

plus i love the fact the lakers lost.  it was a win/win.

I never looked at a box score so I didn't know what he shot from the field but maybe he was bad in the first half i didn't watch it? He absolutly took over late and he deflected some passes in the overtime. I knew he was a decent player with a mid range jumper and a good passer but I never thought he could be a focal point of an offense and beat a pretty good team on the road. He was very clutch last night (other than on the charity stripe) he hit 2 big threes even though he was like 2-7 on threes or something around that

And very little mention of Bynum's flagrant foul.  If it was Perkins, it would be considered a cheap shot by a thug.

I just wonder who get the better of that deal with Suns and Bobcats. I submit to you that Phoenix was fooled again just like they were on the Shaq deal.

Amare Stoudemire has been Nightmare Stoudemire. Nash has lost a step. Grant Hill and Jason Richardson are solid but not All-stars. Shaq, despite his advanced age, remains productive. Phoenix might not make the playoffs. Battle is on with Utah and Dallas. And frankly after this year we may be looking at three more teams jumping ahead of old, tired, and slow Phoenix.

Charlotte, meanwhile, has turned their season around (at our expense) with the additions of Boris Diaw (he needed to get out of Phoenix) and Raja Bell. They are a viable 1st round playoff opponent against one of the Big Three in the EC. Could they be this year's Atlanta. Ole Larry (Brown) can still coach 'em up.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

It was great to see the Lakers lose. The Bobcats seem to give them as much trouble as they give the Celtics. I hated to see Wallace go down now they say he may have a collapsed lung. I know Bynum is supposed to be beast in the middle but he needs to calm down. He tried something similar to stop a Lebron dunk last week. As much as it irks me to see Lebron bulldozing his way to the hoop noone deserves to be fouled like that especially people like Wallace and Lebron who take off so far away.

What stuck out to me watching that game was how Kobe's teammates completely ignored him after he fouled out.  It was like they all wanted nothing to do with listening to his anger fueled tantrums.  A leader he is not.

And what is worse for the role players is that they lose a game that they were leading by 3 with under a minute left -- as soon as KB fouled out.  You know Kobe is steamed about that.  It seems to me that the LA locker room is quite disfunctional behind the scenes right now --- and they are headed on the road for 6 straight.  All the Lakers will no doubt be trying to avoid any and all contact with the KB24 on this roadie.

I smell a LA skid coming.  They will be lucky to split this trip 3-3, especially with Clev and Bos on the back end.

They were leading by 3 with under a minute....thats a lifetime!
..Sorry, but Im just not buying that bobcats wouldnt be able to knock down a 3 if kobe was on the floor. The Bobcats outplayed the lakers pretty much the entire game, which Kobe was on the floor for 45 minutes! and the bobcats should've won that in regulation had they not missed 7 freebies in a row..

Whenever I smell an "LA skid" I know it's time to change my underwear.  ;D

Bobcats are going to be a very tough to play against for the rest of the season. They've got a fair chance of winning one of those final playoff seeds.

Good win for Charlotte. I thought they blew it with all those missed free throws in the fourth, but they pulled it out.
