I doubt it.  His knees are shot.  He used to be one of my favorite players.  He was amazing in that dunk contest.
When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

Not at all.  Not very skilled and not very athletic anymore.  He's been over the hill for a few years.

Would have been fun to see Stevie in green in his heyday, but absolutley pointless now. I can't see him doing anything other than retirement.

When is the last time he was even an average role player?

Honestly, I dunno? I just stumble upon this when surfing the web. I still think are best bet at this point is Steph and Joe Smith if bought out or traeded for .

I think they better find out what they have in Cassell before they take the Marbury chance.

I think E.T. is a coach in training and an insurance policy if the unspeakable happens to out floor General.

Keep Cassell and add Marbury. Don't let this be the jinx, but you never know when an injury to Rondo or Ray might happen. Both Cassell and Marbury could fill those voids as starters or 2nd unit. Here would be my ideal active roster for the Playoffs

Rondo, Marbury, Cassell
Ray, House
Pierce, Sefelosha(Trade Tony Allen)or Damien Wilkins**
KG, BBD(or Powe)
Perk, Scal, Pat0(or Joe Smith if we got him)

**Convince OKC to buyout Joe Smith(take a paycut) and trade Tony Allen and Powe or BBD for Damien Wilkins. Trade machine works out. We get our old vet big man with offense good rebounding, we get rid of the Small PF log jam, and we get a SF w/ 3point range and length(and he can run the point!)
Can't stop, Rondo!

I can't really have a strong opinion since I haven't seen him play in probably 5 years, but could Francis serve as a slightly saner replacement for Marbury?  He's a 3-time All-Star with a similar game, only 31, and if he cares in the least anymore he's gotta feel a little humbled by the last few years.  Or is he completely washed up?

Yeh, Marbury's at least shown SOMETHING in the last few years...Francis sure seems done and at the very least needs a different testing ground than a pressure cooker for a contender.
Yup

Ever since Mobley left the Magic, he hasn't played the same since.

It seems he's lost the will to play and I honestly don't see Francis been looked at.

I'd like us to look at Marbury, but Francis should just call it a day.

It's amazing to think about what happened to Steve's games. I believe he still has all the talent, skill, and basketball know-how. But he has clearly lost all the desire to play the game. This goes to show you how much of being great has to do with love and effort.

This guy was always super althletic and not highly skilled, but [dang], it really appears that he suddenly stopped trying when he wasn't the top dog on his team anymore.  Seems like a loser to me.
