Also, as to the topic, i think that mostly due to durant, the thunder won't be in a position to take Griffin. They'll be too good.

I think a 5-5 stretch from the 3rd worst record in the league has a very good chance to be in position to have a top draft pick.

True, but I see Griffin going #1 and the Thunder probably only having the 3rd or 4th best odds to land the #1 pick.

I'm not sure they'd even pick him.  I think they'd rather take Thabeet or Harden.  Like someone mentioned earlier, SG and C are their needs and if they can get a guy who can fill one of those needs and isn't a reach I think they may rather do that.
do it

Uh, no. There's zero question that the Thunder would take the hometown kid.

They will take Griffin if they get the chance. I guarantee it. Sam Presti, the GM, watches as many of Griffin's games as he can get to.

But ... there are holes in Griffin's game. He has no shot outside 10 feet. He's an ambivalent defender, like the rest of his team. He's not a finished product.

i didn't say they were going to be a championship, i said that they would be a team that could stay in games with good teams, and be the last seed in the playoffs.

obviously if they don't draft blake griffin none of this can happen.
