I have a new theory, if we the members of CelticsBlog harp on a player's play enough, they improve.

This is true... when I started harping on KG being a barker, he changed his tone, spruced up his game, and even called Pierce, Superman, which was exactly what I wanted to hear.

Had nothing to do with you.

You just weren't paying attention before.  ::)

Until we beat LA and Cleveland the way we are beating other teams right now it really doesn't matter what our current win streak sits at except for home court throughout. That is the only thing that matter in the regular season. Home court and beating the teams we will face in the playoffs to increase our confidence and put fear into them. Those two teams currently think they are better than us. No one else does.

I'm sure that we don't think they're better than us.

Of course we don't think so. It may or may not be the case, but what matters is that it is a whole lot easier to beat a team that doesn't deep down believe they can win the series than a team who thinks they are the better team. (See Atlanta Hawks last year)

They are both formidable teams with a lot of weapons and talent, but if they think they are better then we will have an even harder time getting past them. Orlando right now, though talented, doesn't truly believe they can beat us in a series.
