(Mods, feel free to merge this with that other
Curry thread. I looked but couldn't find it.)

It is worse for him.
Report: Curry father of slain baby

I'm surprised this is just coming out now. The original headline I read was something along the lines of "Mother of Curry's baby found slain" and then the article explained the two murders.

Tough year for the guy, gotta feel bad.

That plain old sucks  :(
And that's an understatement.
Even if Curry was not in contact
with the woman or the child, it's
still his flesh and blood that's
forever gone. Sad...

This is truly sad.  But this guy must be doing something wrong to first get robbed at gunpoint, and now have his mistress and kid murdered.

Something is up.
God bless and good night!

yeah, something is up.   And that is the "EXAGGERATION" level here.

This whole thing had NOTHING(ZERO, NADA, ZILCH) to do with Curry.    Eddie's currently married to someone else with 4 kids, for goodness sake.

And has had 2 children with this other woman while married to his wife.  But involved in these murders? No way

This is total supposition, but I think it'll come out that the woman involved may have been in a relationship with someone else when she got pregnant with the now-deceased baby.  Mr. X then found out the real father of the kid he thought was his was due to her cheating on him with her bigshot NBA ex, lost his mind, and killed them both.  This would explain why the two of them were murdered but the older child (who predated the relationship) was left unharmed.  The whole situation sounds like a sheer revenge killing against mom and baby, and the most likely reason is someone felt betrayed.

Either way, it's a tragedy when something horrible like this happens.  No matter what anyone involved did or didn't do there is no reason to execute a helpless baby like that, not to mention the surviving child might well have witnessed some of it.  My heart goes out to Curry, the surviving child, and those who were close to the victims.
