Kendrick Perkdog. For a one year gig this year. To win the Title. Do you want the Seven Foot, Freak of nature with a Seven and a half foot wingspan. Tremendous athlete, That put up 42 points and fifteen Boards. That can potentially dominate by himself.

Or do you want the Super Solid Perkins. Shoulder and all. Someone that shows up every night, who doesn't take crap from anybody. Challenges shots, gets rebounds, Sets picks, Makes shot when open. He Is the ultimate team guy that everyone needs. He's the guy Red said we needed back in the day. He said we need a "banger", We ended up getting Potapenko.  What he meant was get a guy like Perkins.
So who Do Ya take?  Perk or Andrew.

Perkins.  Who is a top interior defender.  Who is a great compliment to KG down low.

Next question.

Wide Load really said all that needs to be said, but I'll add one thing:

Bynum's a Faker punk. When I watch him play, I find myself thinking, "Yeah, he WOULD play for the Lakers".

He's all flashy and athletic, with a big ego and an addiction to attention. A media type.

But Perk is a Boston kind of guy. He brings his lunch pail and hardhat to work every day, gets his job done, and clocks out after giving it all he's got.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

No.  Leaves a hole at SG while giving them a PF that needs more minutes then there are available.

Never. Maybe if I got to cut Vujacic from the team personally, and I got to run Gasoft like the coach from Miracle until tells me he plays for the United States.

And then I got to cut him for lying to me, because the half-bearded king obviously plays for Spain.

So in summary:...I don't like it.

If we did ever do that, Pau would play center And Kg at PF. With Pierce And Sasha Playing with Rondo.  And although I hate Sasha, that would be a Ridiculous Lineup. With the Passing and Length Of Pau. It would be Lethal. Pau is there second best player no question. Ray is are third.  And our size coming off the bench would be awesome.  Perk With Leon And Baby, that would make us a big team.

How about Powe, Pruitt and Ray Allen For Pau, Ariza and Farmar.

You dare not turn that down.

Not for nothing, but we won the title on the other end of the court, the one where we'd go from the best in the league to maybe an upper third defensive team. We wouldn't win a title, but we might be more entertaining.

Why would are Defense be weaker??? We still have Perk on the team? Doc can put him in whenever he likes. And we could sometimes play all three bigs on the court. With Pierce and Rondo in the backcourt.

Putting Gasol next to KG makes KG the tough guy.  He would have to do more of the dirty work.

Plus, don't KG and Gasol want to be in the same spot on offense?

No, Perk would still start with Gasol having to play a Mchale like 6th man role.

The backcourt would be weakened.  And the lack of Ray's outside shot would allow defense to collapse more.

Plain and simple, with KG already on the team, Ray Allen is the better player then Gasol.

In all fairness, I would hope the Celtics would jump on any TA for Ariza offers.

You quoted a lineup subbing Pau and Sasha for Perk and Ray. That would make us much weaker defensively. Just switching Sasha for Ray is a pretty decent defensive hit.

Yup.
