I hope Terry Porter calls a timeout after that dunk. It was so classless of Walker.

hes a garbagetime player, he's trying to prove what he has. if that was KG it would have been classless. this kid averages like 6 minutes a game.

It was a joke in reference to the toronto game when they called the time out after we dunked with little time left in a blowout because the raptors considered it classless.

Not to mention, Pruitt has proven he's a better backup PG than Eddie, although I still like seeing Eddie in the SG position.

Totally different situation though, today we ran out the clock at the end of the game when the shot clock was turned off, that game we dunked it when we didn't have to. Why did Bill Walker come in so late, the offense wasn't looking good anyways, it would have been nice to see him get more time.

hahaha I'm so pumped on that comment "Bill Walker is what TA supporters want Tony to be". It's so true

Honestly, I really don't know who's got TA's back at this point.

Bill Walker is what all of Tony Allen's supporters want TA to be.

Unfortunately, he's not that good, at least currently.

well he makes rookie mistakes cause he's a rookie, TA makes Rookie mistakes and he's a veteran. plus walker has the explosiveness.

Are you sure you know what Tony Allen's supporters want TA to be?

Anyway, people are over-reacting to Bill Walker garbage minutes as well. I have no illusions about TA but the chances I'd play Walker ahead of me right now are exactly 0. Walker's handling on traffic and defence still need lots of work.

It was a joke in reference to the toronto game when they called the time out after we dunked with little time left in a blowout because the raptors considered it classless.

In all fairness, they didn't call the timeout because it was a blowout or garbage time; they called it because Rondo could have run out the clock. Different situation.

This is gonna be a tough game, especially if Shaq plays and Perk doesn't.  Phoenix is still defensively inconsistent, but they've improved since past years, and they can still score points both in bunches and consistently throughout the game.  Couple that with our 4th quarter inconsistency and this'll be one we'll have to gut out.

Hope I'm wrong and we rock em though.

Well, I'm an idiot...glad to be wrong though.  Really thought Richardson and their bigs would give us fits.  The intensity differential in this one was the regular season equivalent of Game 6.  Great performance, now we get to see who we get to gain on in the standings.

It's rare that people have the back of a non-star player who's injured. That being said, I reserve judgment on Bill Walker until I see him play meaningful minutes. He might be just as dumb with the ball as TA, or he might be crafty. We'll have to see.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

im not saying that Walker is replacing TA's role, becuase that should be replaced by Pruitt. Walker is the type of player that TA is, except he can still get up, and he has a good shot. so Cordobes i say that in the food chain Pruitt moves up and Walker moves from not even being on the bottom to....BEING there.

Walker is very athletic and strong. Finishing that reverse semi dunk was LeBron-like in hand strength. Impressive.

POB is a very good passer. He also has his clumsy moments. But I liked most when he went to the floor on the loose ball. He is trying, for sure. He also has great timing in blocking shots. And I did not know that he was the defensive player of the year in his conference in college. I know Bradley did not play in a strong conference, still, that says something about the kid.  He reminds me a teeny bit of Camby.

Pruitt has great hands and anticipation defensively.

You know, I was about to say something good about POB to the people I was watching the game with, but then he got stripped under our own basket and I just groaned and threw my hands up.

I know, but it was right after he made a steal, so I figured I would give him a break on that play!!

I did not read through this game thread, but it is worth noting (if not repeating) that Scal is a very good defender. He uses his feet and body as well as anyone, and plays the rotations to perfection. He frustrated the hell out of Stoudemire tonight.  He is a very intelligent defensive player.

I just wish he was a better 3 point shooter. You just feel his loss of confidence when he shoots.
