Pierce is quietly edging closer to a triple-double...probably won't get the minutes, though, if we finish this quarter strong.

Are the Phoenix Suns this bad on the back side of back to backs or are the Celtics that good and have they finally turned the corner and returned to the team they were before hitting the mid season wall.

Personally, I think the C's are that good and that the C's are about to go on an unbelievable roll. Watch for the C's to go 20 of the next 22 or so.

And the reason is Rajon Rondo. As he comes into his own and he starts to realize that he can dominate the man he is against and suddenly, as the season goes on, turns the Celtics more into the Fantastic Four instead of the Big Three, the Celtics will begin once more to dominate this league.

Once LA and Cleveland have to come here soon and Boston blows them out here, nationally the Celtics will get their due.

Over-reaction.
Why so?

Well Cleveland at least plays better defense than the Suns have tonight in their sleep. LA would also play better defense against us as I'm sure they'll be locked due to recent events.  8)

But yes it is nice to see the Celtics put a series of great games together.

Because of several reasons, like we're not being "30 points in a half" better than the Suns, not even close - and this coming from someone who feels we are vastly superior team, even without Perkins. And Rondo won't stop being inconsistent from now on - and he's not going to hit triples at this pace much more times during the rest of the season. We're playing a great game, they're even worse defensively than they use to be and are turning over the ball like crazy. But this game is not an accurate picture of the relative value of these teams, especially considering a Perkins-less and TA-less Boston.

And we weren't that good during the winning streak. Really, we weren't blowing out teams like world-beaters, we had plenty of very close wins in that streak.

Rajon's hitting his 3's at just under 31% right now.   ;D

PS-which lucky guy picked him in the over under for tonight?

I hope we can expect some good rest for the starters.  They'll need it for the game at Orlando.  I'm not liking the way this schedule is set up.  Orlando has 4 nights off before facing Celtics, while Celtics will play them as the 3rd game in 4 nights.

Think Phoenix regrets selling that draft pick for a million now?

It is only one game though, I'd rather not have it be such a big disparity in rest but it happens.

how awesome is this jim beam commercial?
It's quite dumb, actually.

I am not worried about it.  It breeds toughness.
Celtics fan for life.

Amare just stood there and didn't even try to get through those Powe screens. I'd be ****ed if we got that kind of effort out of one of our stars.

Amare is a bum. He's getting outplayed by Scal.

And yelling "and one" while you flail at the basket with no coherent plan doesn't get it done.

Also, basketball consists of defense and rebounding, in case he hasn't heard.

Wow Suns must be glad Shaq played tonight. Can't imagine what the score would look like without his input .
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
