It's hilarious that Heinsohn averaged 28 shots per 48 minutes. Even Kevin Durant doesn't shoot that much.

They didn't call him "Tommy gun" for nothing.

There were a ton more shots taken back then - period.  Shooting percentages were atrocious.
Yup

I mentioned it in the game thread. In spite of a not very exciting game, they managed to put a great product on my laptop - for all the reasons Redz pointed. Kudos to Comcast. I'm writing them an e-mail, hoping positive reinforcement works.

True. Completely different game.

I agree on the post, however, doesn't it seem irresponsible for Wyc to be commenting on needing more players?

1.  What about his current players?
2.  Does this hamper Ainges ability to play hardball, with other teams know that the owner is pushing for 'more beef'?
3.  What is he telling the fans if a trade or signing doesn't happen?

My last thought is that there is a deal already worked out, but for timing reasons, it's not announced yet.  It's the only reason Wyc would comment, in my mind.

Everybody knows, and already knew, what Wyc said. Doc has said multiple times this team needs more size. The players know that. The FOs around the league know that. In case a trade or signing doesn't help, they'll try to spin it the best they can.
