Perk's Yahoo! Sports player profile notes that Perk's strained left shoulder is set to keep him out 4-6 weeks. Uh oh.

Looking at it from a positive angle: better now than later.

Boston.com still has Perk's expected return Monday vs. Phoenix in their article about Scal.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

  • You know my methods, Watson.

yes, the same site that had the celtics victorious in a game they lost has all the credibility in the world... ;D

Better then Yahoo sports for local stuff, who frequently misses injury reports during all fantasy seasons lol

If it turns out to be true, there's no way they can last 4 to 6 weeks without playing Patick O'Bryant

is this the same Yahoo sports that had us trading for JJ Reddick??

it seems like they are more concerned with website hits than facts.  yahoo is garbage, they have no credibility whatsoever.

If any blame to be had here it should be towards D.Ainge and owners...knowing that Perkins probably would have some issues throughout the season, they did absolutely nothing worthwhile in the offseason to prepare for it.If POB is the answwer then i still have questions for them.

There were starting caliber centers on the market that would sign for the money we had to spend? I must have missed that. Aside from the always dependable, playoff tested Birdman, of course.

IF this were true...who do you think is most tired on the team right now at the midway point and who do you think it will be 4 weeks from now?

I go with Paul now and KG may fall over dead without POB getting some time or us lucking into a 6'10" plus shot blocker some other way.

Heal up Perk...we needs the beast!

Doesn't look like this is true...here's the latest update from Boston.com.

Quote
Kendrick Perkins, who will miss tonight's game with that left shoulder injury, is out shooting jumpers right now. No brace of any kind for Perk, and he looks to be moving well.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Hopefully its untrue but Yahoo isnt the best source. Still Ainge should have signed a center in the off-season (Birdman, Elson etc) and needs to find one now.
