Interesting article courtesy of TrueHoop link:

Strikes me reading this that these guys are not dwelling on the things that we do in on this Blog. They are not trashing people who have not even played (POB). They are not all chicken little and stuff. They are focused on one thing and having fun doing it. As should we. I hate the fact that this somehow includes tearing down developing players who may or may not have what it takes - which by the way is something that very few if any on this board possess. So enjoy the ride. Stay focused on the goal and remember it takes all kinds. This is as true in basketball as it is in life. Having read this article I now know why "Sam I am" is on this team and why no one has punched him out yet. He keeps thing light, and he keep it real. Something we should all remember (myself included). Something we will need for the next slump.

Good Read, Good Find. TP

Did anyone else picture Shrek and Donkey when they read the next to last line where she quotes Sam Cassell saying to Doc;

"Doc, you sweet...you sweet."

I can just see Sams head on Donkey.

Great article. Celtics seem to have some of the funniest people in the league
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
