If the team rose up out of no where and won a tile, I would agree with you.



But this is a team put together to win a title (at least the starters are put together to win a title)

We also won in 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1974, 1976, 1981, 1984 and 1986, in case anyone forgot.

History is history.  What matters is now, not last year or last decade.

While I will always be grateful for the 2008 title especially the extraordinary turnaround engineered by Ainge and Doc, I would dearly love to for them to repeat because my 1st year of listening to Johnny Most on a full time basis was the year after Bill Russell retired.

I thought I would be cashing social security checks before I got to smoke a victory cigar for the Celtics 17th Championship after that awful 2007 lottery.

I agree with you,all they ever talk about is how great LBJ is.You may think he won something already.Last season it was Kobe,Kobe,Kobe all the time on ESPN but did they win the championship?tp for the post.
