I was surprised by it, but I think Gasol kept the Lakers in the finals last year and I think he won the game for them against the C's last week.

  • The REAL Pau Gasol
In a weird way I do like the guy and would hate if he left the Lakers. I mean when he falls on the ground and starts crying he was fouled, its hilarious, or his wannabe Garnett chest bump. There can be only one...Pau Gasoft.

I don't think Gasol is soft.
His game is more a game of finesse.
Call it the European style of b-ball.

If I were from Spain, I'd probably
admire him as well. Much like people
from Canada admire Steve Nash and (most)
people from the USA admire Dwyane Wade.

Pau does look like a llama, though  ;)

Blame Stern, not Gasol.

LOL! I think this is the last time i dare to start a topic about someone who has ever worn yellow and purple :P

Now, seriously...I guess i like him more since he comes from Spain. I haven't lived in my country since the 90's, so i guess that little facts like a countryman playing in the second best team in the league and actually being an all star make me fell proud and a little homesick ;)

However, i have been a fan of the NBA for more than 20 years...hell i am as old as Paul Pierce and i have always been a celtic fan. I have watched games with Larry Bird, Sherman Douglas, Alton Lister, Greg Minor, Antoine Walker, Dana Barros, Tony Battie and Kevin Garnett. I haven't stopped supporting my team, no matter if they won 15, 33 or 66 games. I bleed green.

And i will not write about a non celtic in this blog ever again  ;D :P

Thank you, I'd appreciate that very much.

Don't sweat it, greenwise.
Just don't do it again  ;D
I'm glad the headline didn't
say "I admire Kobe Bryant".
Then you clearly would need
some intensive therapy!!!  ;)
