Well, I guess this off season is good because we know everyone injured will be back ready for opening day, permitting.  Regardless, another long off season.

Who is their backup?

Is anyone else convinced that if they had kept Pennington, this was a 12-13 win Jets team, fighting for home-field for the entire playoffs?
I'm not sure about that. I think they'd be at least as good as they are. But the Jets and Miami play a very different offense. Would Pennington be as good as he has been in the Jets system? I don't know.

But Pennington is a better quarterback at this point in his career than Farve. You just can't turn it over like Farve does and win.

I hate Favre and it made me sick to my stomach to root for the Jets.  Favre is one of the most overrated players ever!  I respect his longevity, but to say that he's up there with Montana is just a disgrace.
