yeah. i agree about paterno. from what i can tell he is not only eternal...he seems to be a good human being and seems to treat his players well...unlike many coaches.

i have been to state college, not much there aside from the school is there? pretty area but it seems isolated.
Never understood the fascination with JoePa for the first few years I was here. Now as he is pushing 82, I'm starting to get it. My parents are crazy and they are only 60. I'm starting to go crazy as I enter my late-20s. How the heck can you retain the mental awareness and sanity to coach a football powerhouse when you're in your 80s? I'll give him props for that.
As for State College, if you don't like football or drinking, it isn't your town. Jon Stewart said, as you approach the town, it's like 'cow, farm, cow....20,000 hot chicks'.
