Saw the game tonight and i will continue to stress this point until i beat it to death.

The Lakers are a disgrace on the defensive end, they stunk it up on Pick&Roll and Transition defense again (5-10 games in a row now) but that said' whats disturbing to me is that they just dont give even 75% on the defensive end, when you know the Knick-a-bonk'ers are running a high volume shooting team and you dont close out to shooters. You simply cannot delude you self and say "the Lakers are a defensive minded team"

Atleast Kobe isnt constantly talking defense in the media after this stint of games' thats a relief

All the props in the world to the Knicks' they are on a 5 game roadtrip' and they outhustle the Lakers though 3 qtr's with only 7 players but they were flat in the 4th.
If they had a vet on the bench and another solid big, they would have won that game.

I'll defently watch the Knicks this year, regardless of past hate, they are playing entertaining basketball.

 Celtics do not look as bad as the Lakers have looked lately.  Difference is Celtics play defense on a consistent basis. Lakers are not going to go far playing 'defense' like they do. They can get by in the regular season most of the time like this but in the playoffs? Teams have figured out their defense and Lakers still have not adjusted.

we had a higher than normal TO stat for an elite team last year to, but my thought on it is when you promote as much ball movement as we do (i mean, most teams don't pass as much or as well as we do) then your going to turn the ball over a few more times per game than a team that dribbles down, makes a pass, and goes into an iso.

Me, i'll take a few extra TO's off extra passes for the wide open shots our great ball movement leads to.
