Just a headsup for those with NBAtv...it's 40-28 early in the 2nd.  The Knicks are playing very well so far.

  • Yup
The Knicks have done some major addition by subtraction and have a coach who the players will play for.
Yup

Celtics have been down by bigger margins this year in the first half and rebounded. 12 down near halftime is not that big a deal.

On the other hand, Go Knicks!!!!!!

And I can watch a game where both teams are horrible on defense and not be annoyed by it.

I'm watching the game. Way to jinx it... I predict the Lakers to win easily now.

What the Knicks are doing this season, with a 7 men rotation filled with role-players and a couple of scrubs who shouldn't be starting even for the worst team in the NBA is remarkable. Coach D'Antoni deserves a lot of credit indeed. I think that from now on I'm starting to use the "Coach" before his name, instead of just calling him Mike D'Antoni, and I generally only do that to guys like Coach Sloan, Coach Knight, Coach Messina, Coach Dean Smith, Coach Brown, etc..  :D Although I suspect that they'll come down to earth at some point, much because of the physical tool, and the fact that I strongly dislike D'Antoni's game from a stylistic POV, it's a truly outstanding performance.

I couldn't help but notice during the halftime on NBatv, Ahmad Rashad is really good on NBAtv. I have never been a fan of his, but he is hilarious on NBAtv. Clever and quick-witted.

Well, even if I did, you just jinxed the jinx by mentioning it, so we should be fine.  Just hoping for an entertaining game.

It's even a smaller deal in a game with 2 teams that play at such a fast tempo. The Knicks went 5-37 from 3 last night against Phoenix and are 11-23 at halftime tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers win this by +30.

Ariza is regularly the guy responsible for turning things around for the Lakers.

Isiah had some decent draft picks.

Watching Vujacic get repeatedly punked on defense is making me so nostalgic...

Is NBAtv showing the LA broadcast? The color guy is so balanced, it is hard to imagine it could be a local broadcast.
