Ho ho ho

Tis the season for the 1st annual Celticsblog Christmas Triva Thread

So in the spirit of the Movie Line Trivia Thread, He (she) who answers first, gets to propose the next question.

1st Question:  Who wrote the song made popular by Nat King Cole "The Christmas Song"?

I cheated and looked it up. I won't answer it, but I'll give a hint that probably won't help. Wiki lists two writers collaborating, but I only recognized one of the names. He had a cameo on Seinfeld once, if I remember correctly.

That's who I am thinking of.....I never knew about the Seinfeld appearance, but he used to be on Night Court all the time too.

Since you guys are all cheating on this one, I'll throw this one out there:

What now defunct Felaffel stand in Boston did my brother and I traditionally eat at on Christmas Eve?  They were open 364 days a year around the clock (closed for Christmas Day)...Where else were a couple of hungry Hanukah celebrating siblings supposed to go for vittles on Christmas Eve?
Yup

I swear to God I did not look it up, but based on the Night Court line I am going to guess Mel Torme.

Yeah, it's the Velvet Fog, Mr. Mel Torme, which also happens to be the best nickname ever.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

It is indeed Mel.  Celtic, you are on the clock

(and I agree, the Velvet Fog is indeed a kickin nickname)

Another question then

What mountain did the Grinch take the Who's Christmas up to the top of?

The Grinch lived on Mount Crumpit but I'm not sure it was ever stated that the peak he was on was the same mountain.

10,000 feet up the side of Mount Crumpit.

Nick, feel free to ask the next question.
