Thanks - not sure if an NBA player has been called "Rain Man" but I think it's appropriate for Ray.  Google it, great movie starring Dustin Hoffman.

Ray's meticulous approach to the game and the fact that he can rain threes on you all day long makes "Rain Man" my nickname of choice.

Last year I thought I heard Cornbread or Grande call Ray "Killer Ray". That's the name I use. Ray is so cool, calm, quiet. But He's a straight up Killer. I also call him "Jesus".

I know it's fun to come up with nicknames and discuss them... but I've always been of the belief that thinking about and choosing a nickname makes the nickname lame. Nicknames have to come up from a natural involuntary process... those are the good ones. They just happen. The proof is in the pudding... look at all the lame nicknames Shaq has come up with.

Once a guy has been in the league 13 seasons and a nickname hasn't really stuck, I think it's safe to say that giving him a new one is a losing effort.

I like "Ray Ray", as well.  I don't like "Rain Man", because I don't think it makes sense to give him the same nickname as another prominent all-star from a decade ago.  That would be like naming some rookie "The Truth".  I know Kemp became a joke, but he used to be one of the best players in the NBA, and the "Reign Man" moniker is instantly recognizable to most NBA fans.
