Most of the great ones have been covered, so I'll add a few more (my favorite is the Ray drivin/Sasha cryin moment crownsy mentioned):
- KG banking in a one hander while falling down late in the 1st half of Game 6. That play instantly confirmed that 1. There would be no Laker comeback and tense 2nd half moments, ie Game 2, and 2. KG wouldn't have the stigma of being seen as not contributing enough in the Finals (completely false, but that was the storyline the media was starting to push after a lousy Game 5).
- During a game in I believe the Atlanta series, KG hands off a rebound to Rondo and briefly touches heads with him, saying something to him before they both head up court. Was a great veteran/young guy moment.
- The very first game against the Wizards last year, we had a first half possession where every starter touched the ball, swinging the ball around the perimeter and through the paint, creating a wide open 3 that Pierce swished. Almost no dribbling and probably 5-6 crisp, purposeful passes with the defense falling further and further behind each one. My jaw dropped to see a bunch of guys who hadn't played together before work so well and so unselfishly together.
Not to go all Dickie V, but we really are in a special place getting to root for a team like this. TP to OP for bringing back all the great memories.
