Whats up fellas. I'm looking for some opions on who to start in my Flex spot in the fantasy football playoffs. Here are my options.

Le'Ron McClain vs Washington (currently have in penciled in)
Pierre Thomas  vs ATL (prob playing second fiddle to bush this week)
Mewelde Moore vs Dallas (FWP seems to be healthy)
Chad Ocho Cinco vs Indy (he blows)

I'm alos torn between starting Garrard and Hasselbeck

Honestly, I dont really like any of your options, haha.

I think Mewelde might score the most out of those guys.  With WP still recovering, I would have to assume Moore will play, and he provides recieving yards as well.

Thomas could also play a fair amount though, since Duece wont be playing so it is Bush then thomas.

As for QB, I have no opinion...I just dont particularly like either guy.  Who is Garrard going against?  I guess just play the matchups...

Im not too big on them either. :( I do have Adrian Peterson and Brandon Jocobs as my backs so I'm in good shape there.

Garrard is going against the Bears and Hasselbeck is going against the Pats. I just picked up Hasselbeck thinking they will probably be trailing and could put up decent numbers vs. the Pats secondary.

Baltimore is bipolar with their running backs, who starts this week? McClain? Rice? McGahee? does McClain start and only get 5 touches? While Rice gets 15? Do they list McGahee as the starter and give him zero carries? its a touch call with that.
Pierre Thomas, hmmmm--- probably not. Bush is back and you can expect much better numbers this week than last week.
Chad Johnson? id put him on the waiver wire and look for something better, they guy has almost zero value.
Mewelde Moore-- Well Id say you are going to get split carries out of him and Parker, and with Dallas' rush D being very good the matchup doesnt favor him.
Your Flex position is going to have to be kind of a guess. I would go with Moore--but I would be second guessing that decision up until the lineups lock.

As for QB, I would go with Garrard.  Why? the Bears secondary is brutal, dont believe the hype with their secondary its not that good. They play an awful Cover 2 Defense and Lovie Smith refuses to change the scheme. I know, Im a Bears fan and it is frustrating watching them.
Hasselbeck? <----- I wouldnt touch that.

I'd go with Moore at the Flex and start Garrard at QB.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Tyler Thigpen against a not so good Denver D, or Tony Romo against a very good Pitt D?

Thigpen.

I am almost always in favor of just going with the better player (Romo), but I think Thigpen will put up better numbers this week.

I'd go McClain. It's a time share in Balimore and Harbaugh likes Le'Ron. As for QB, Hasselback was listed as doubtful on Friday, so I'd go with Garrad vs the Bears weak pass defense.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
