I don't know that either team will win 70 games.  The only way I see that happening is if there is another team close to either one of them in their conference and they need to keep winning games to clinch home court (and that scenario is doubtful).  Plus, I just don't think either team is that good.  Last year, the Celts dominated a regular season about as much we've seen in a long time and they won 66.

For the most part I just don't see winning 70 games as being a big priority for either team.  Maybe it will happen serendipitously.

Celts and Lakers will tie for regular season record and the C's will win the tiebreaker by virtue of sweeping the head to head matchups - AGAIN!

I think the Lakers will have the league's best record. I don't think they'll win 70, but think they'll come close to it, just falling short by a small margin. They have a good shot at reaching 70.

I think the Celtics will have the league's second best record and best record in the East. I like them to win 60+ games.

Can you answer me why you are so pro Lakers?  I really don't care why but you start 99% of how good the Lakers are, or how good the Piston's are now that they beat the Laker's.  Where was the were really good because we crushed the Piston's article...

They can have the best record in the regular season. They will still lose to the C's in the finals if they get there. That is all I care about.

Most likely the lakers will have a slightly better record, but really, I don't care.  As long as our youngens keep improving, our vets stay fresh, and everyone stays healthy I think the Celts will be the better team in the playoffs.

I don't know about that but one thing is for sure, you're definitely not a Celtics fan. You've been given ample opportunities to respond to queries of such manner and not only do you ignore them you continue to talk trash about our Celtics and praise every other team, namely the Lakers and Pistons.

Why am I not surprised by this prediction.

Neither team, the Lakers or the Celtics are better than the Jordan Bulls who won 72 games. Neither team is even close to being that good.

I say both teams win over 60 and they will be real close as to who has the better record. It could be a tie with the Celtics winning the tie by virtue of their season sweep of the Lakers.

Seriously, even if the Lakers manage to get to the NBA Finals the Celtics will be there waiting to beat them (again). 

The C's are simply tougher, mentally and physically.  Doesn't matter who has home court in the Finals.  I want home court against Cleveland.
