darkk_lord i will try and give you the highlights of the interview.
1.)Dale asked Paul how much weight did he lose in the off season and does he feel better playing with the weight loss.Paul said he lost approximately 10pds.over the summer. He is now playing at the weight he played with in college. It is making it easier for him to guard guys in different positions.Last season he said he found himself having to guard  pt.guard and 2g.at times. He felt it allows him to be quicker to defend the faster players.2.)Michael Holley asked him about his knee problem(s)... he said that he was having a problem with his knee long before the finals but never complained about it.He said it was a bone bruise that takes time to get better. They forgot to ask him which knee during the interview(Dale brought to Mike's attn after the interview :))3.)They talked about Paul's "The Truth Foundation" which  raised money recently by having an auction with a  bowling competition between players in Newport R.I.They asked who were good bowlers and who was lousy ones.Powe and Paul himself were the best bowlers.I think he said Powe bowled a 160.The worst bowlers were quote "the 7 footers of the team(smirked).KG and POB can't seem to get the hang of it.The taller you are the worst bowler you seem to be."4.)Dale asked about the bad blood going on between the teams the other night.Paul said he laughs most of the time because the Knicks try the same tactics everytime they play them.He doesnt take them to serious.5)Dale asked him if it feels like every team are playing them extra tough because they are the champions...quote, "i know we have a target on our backs".For instance,  when the Nuggets were in town the other night ,after the game Chauncey came into our locker room (Chauncey,KG and Paul are good friends),he stated that the whole Nugget's team was celebrating like they had won the championship after they got into their locker room.Chauncey told them, its only 1 game guys.Paul feels its going to be a challenge to repeat thats why he came into this season in the best shape of his career since entering the NBA from college.

Its was earlier today so i might have forgot a few things but i think this was the highlights.

Sounds like it was a good interview. I'd expect nothing less from Dale and Holley (the only hosts I can tolerate on that station). The story about the Nuggets celebrating like they won the championship is a pretty interesting anecdote. TP for the rundown housecall.

I do find it funny that Paul claims to be in the best shape of his career. It seems like I hear that line out of every player every year. Good for Paul if he in fact trimmed down over the summer (I believe him if he says he did), but if you go take a look at a couple of old Pierce highlights on youtube, I think you'll realize pretty quickly that Paul is not the athlete he used to be. He's clearly slower, bulkier, and a worse leaper at this point in his career. Baseketballwise, though, he's as good as ever, probably better.

oh no doubt he's slower, thats age catching him. but just looking at him you can see he's more in shape than last year.

hell, even knicks fans were commenting on it on "comments from the other side" this morning.

Another TP for house, great run down :)
