This game is much, much closer than I thought it was going to be, the Hawks can play.
Obviously...theyre 6-0 with some good teams on their schedule and pushed us to 7 games last year

There have been some silly calls and some ugly play, but let's sit back and enjoy the rest of this one. It is a classic in the making. These are two good teams and they are gonna fight tooth and nail until the final whistle.

Of course, we have Pierce so I expect to be on the right side of the score ;-)

Tony Allen has got to get it under control.  Almost thrown it away a few times tonight.

23, 13 and 8 for Howard now...

This is an entertaining but frustrating game.  We've been outplaying them since they got that huge lead, but can't quite cement a lead of our own.  But their big men are in major foul trouble now, we need to keep attacking inside.

I'm just giving them some credit, I don't care who they have beaten I judge them when I see them play my team which just so happens to be the best team in the league, and even though the series went 7 last year I was never impressed with them. The first round last season was much more a product of bad Celtic's play than great Hawk's play, this team is much better than it was last year from what I am seeing. So it's actually not that obvious.

Dwight Howard triple double the hard way update

29,14,9 blocks with 5:41 left in the 3rd

the only that will stop him is the blowout
Yup

I haven't been watching, I tuned in when I saw how close the scoreline is. I'm amazed it's so close.

What's been happening? Celtics playing poorly again? Or have Atlanta been this good?

I still say he doesn't get that 10th block, and I will even put a tommy point on the line, dare to do the same?

Those wide open missed three pointers from Ray Allen were painful.

I'd absolutely love to know what percentage he shoots on wide open jumpshots.

He's such a good shooter that it's strange to see him miss them.
