Wow what a bad game. I hope these guys think 2wice about getting drunk b4 a game. I don't want to ever hear about this Rajon Rondo being an all star crap until he learns to hit a free throw or not get schooled by a 5 foot 10 shrimp. I'm glad the refs are starting to expose KGs constant traveling. Ray Allen's shooting woes on the road from last years playoffs continue and Turnover Allen still can't shoot to save his life. Rasho Nestrovic tore Perk apart too. All I saw were wide open layups. Is it too late to hop on the Lakers bandwagon? The celtics aint gonna get home court advantage by only winning games in the garden

10 minutes...

1st overreaction post - please jump on that bandwaggon, clearly this one isn't going to work out for you - celtics fans, live it, love it, have been through the good and the bad - this is the 1st loss of the season, guess what? there will be more.  I'm sure Kobe and company would love to have you rooting for them, and I don't think we'd notice...

Late?  I'm not sure.

Extreme?  Absolutely.

Not a good game, but it's game three of the regular season.  As good a time as any for these sorts of games.

nice. TP.

Reminds me of that Toronto game last year. KG was the only Celtic who came to play. everyone else should be ashamed. Again, they checked in at 4 am last night, let's hope that played a role.

Celtics didn't win all the games last year.

It is going to be tough on you if you react this way after every loss.

p.s.  Lakers are going to lose games to.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
it's not so much the loss that's bothersome, but it's the WAY they lost.  they looked terribly out of sync.  this pacer team is scrappy, but they're not that good.  there was a window of opportunity to win but TJ Ford had his way and Granger equalized Pierce.

i'm concerned about the bench...hate to revisit the Posey thing, but this team will miss him more than they want to admit.

i wouldn't hit the panic button, but i hope we're not seeing a trend of things to come because, honestly, i haven't been impressed with them yet this year.

no need to panic for sure. but like posted in the Posey thread, they have not IMO replaced what he did for the team. most notably Posey's key three pointers. he just had a knack of knocking down a three at the right time to spark the team on a night when they were playing crummy like tonight.

the combo of Eddie and Pose was lethal. so glad we at least have Eddie...but i think Danny needs to at least start thinking about targeting someone to fill that role. not panic, but definitely should at least be thinking about it.

If a negative trend continues at the swing position off the bench, I have little doubt that Ainge will take the steps to address it during the season.

i agree. but easier said than done.... talent is at a premium in the NBA and if Posey's spot was easy to fill, DA would have done it in the off-season.

that's why i think he needs to start thinking and looking now...TA is a nice option off the bench, but he simply does not do enough of what Posey did...plus, he doesn't have the length.

it will be nice to see Walker get some PT at the SF spot, but he does not have the shooting ability. i think the most underrated thing Posey brought to our team last year were those three's...

the celtics played horribly, but your over reacting.  now if they string a couple games in a row with that type of poor display, your concerns are more credible. our bench lacks some of the leadership they had last year and i predict they will be inconsistent.  thats our biggest weakness heading into the season from my perspective.
