I'm sure there's a thread for this already but I can't find it.

In light of the Pierce vs. McHale debate today, I wonder if we should reconsider/discuss the rankings on the site now.

First number is number of users per category.  Next is number of posts needed to gain that rank.  Stars is how many stars you get.  Sorry if the format looks odd.

well, there is a distinction between current players vs. retired so I guess you can argue that it stays as is for that reason alone

I came up with free agent, but I can't take credit for Naismith.  That was a great addition one of our members, as was the Johnny Most inclusion.

I think we should include Doc, perhaps.  He's a part of the team...  anybody have a suggestion for slotting?  (It can't be over 1000, because I don't want to mess up the stars system.)

Yeah, that's the reason I haven't elevated Pierce.  When he retires, he'll jump *way* up that list.  For now, though, I wanted to keep current guys together.

When was Naismith added?  

I'd keep them the same.  All the guys ahead of Pierce have their numbers retired, that should still count for something.

Of course, when Pierce retires/gets number retired, this will ignite quite the debate.

Or if we really wanted to drive Roy nuts (which we all know we do), we could have Twoin pop up when someone reaches exactly 8,88,888,8888 posts etc...
