One of the owners walked by and I asked him if I could see the ring.  He smiled broadly and took it off and handed it to me!!   My wife was like a ninja and had the camera out immediately.  I was sooo excited.  I told him "I loved him."

Thats awesome.  I remember when Stacy James (The Patriots media guy) did that with me with one of the super bowl rings.  He was so casual, I was working at the restaurant he was eating at, he handed me the ring and walked away.  I had to track him down about 10 minutes later.  That was fun wearing the thing for 10 minutes, haha

  • Welcome to the Loud House
I was lucky enough to meet Carl Beane, the Sox PA announcer and put on the 2004 championship ring for the sox. I'd post the pics but I dont know how to.

I held the ring tonight.  I got a picture of it, but I can't figure out how to post it.  It's a crappy cell phone pic though  :(  Just a fantastic night...

Wow, you must have known you were going to take a picture with the ring... It offers an explanation as to why you would wear a suit to a Celtics game.  :-\

Beautiful. That ring is the shiniest thing I've ever seen. Almost went blind when I saw it on TV.  ;D

What I liked the most was when Paul
put down the Trophy, the rings were
decked out on the table to form "17".
Beautiful!

Wow.  Coolest story in the history of Celticsblog (other than Po interviewing Bill Russell.)
