I was reading the "Blazers Opener" thread, and I had a question: What are everyone's top 10 teams to watch other than the C's (or C's at #1)?

I'm going with:
1. Celtics
2. Cleveland-love watching James work.
3. New Orleans-ditto for Chris Paul
4. Portland-fun young team
5. Spurs-each of their 3 best players are fun to watch for different reasons
6. Sixers-fun, fast team.
7. Denver-AI and carmelo are great to watch.
8. Phoenix-actually moved down with the shaq acquisition, but nash and amare are worth it.
9. Utah-very fun team, really like watching williams-boozer play.
10. Minny-after all the hope i invested in Big Al, i still like watching him. add in a bunch of young question marks, and that's fun.

Notables: Atlanta, Orlando, Heat, Thunder, Warriors

What are some of your favorite non-C's teams to watch, and why?

I like watching Utah, New Orleans, and Phoenix.  I'm also definitely interested in watching Philly this year, and Portland will be a "must see".

Since like 2000, I've really only gotten into one other team, and the was the Houston Rockets. I'm huge T. Mac fan, despite the little altercation a week ago.

Utah, NO and Phoenix eh?  Fan of the point guard position?

Utah is my personal favorite besides the Cs.  Derron Williams is an amazing player.  I know CP3 is probably more talented, but I just love the way Williams runs an offense.  There are so few mistakes.

I don't really have a non-C's favorite team, but I'm pretty intrigued by Portland.  They should be fun to watch develop this year.  A lot of nice young pieces.

golden state in the playoffs two years ago and denver are both really fun to watch.  they have their moments and always play a lot different from the celtics.  Now...  I won't watch them much, so go Celtics.

Favorite OTP Bonus:
Allen Iverson
Butch Davis
Tony Parker
Al Jefferson
Luol Deng

"Sounds like the ice's problem."

2 for the Show!
GO CELTS!

Utah Jazz, by far. I think their screening is historically good. I believe Williams is a little bit over-rated and Boozer a little bit under-rated because of that.

Besides them, no special favourites. I'll keep my eye on Minny this season.

1.  Lakers-I Hate Kobe but he is just so much fun to watch.  I also enjoy Odom and Pau and am interested in Bynum's progress.
2.  Nuggets-There offense is crazy and there defense sucks.  You know its gonna be a fun game every time.
3.  Hornets-When Chris Paul is "in the zone" there is noone more fun to watch.
4.  Clippers-I am excited to see them play this season with all of the changes they made.  I still have a special place in my heart for Ricky D and I love Baron.
5.  Suns (of the last couple season)-They were amazing to watch although I don't expect them to play the same way with Dantoni gone.
6.  Knicks-I know this is crazy but I can't wait to see them play under a real coach.  They have some serious talent and a lot of players who I think will fit in well in Dantoni's offense.

I can't come up with any more than that right now.

Oh I like the Hawks too.  Joe Johnson was incredible against us and I like Marvin Williams, Horford and Josh Smith a lot too.

Timberwolves - Gotta root for Al Jefferson.

I used to like the Sonics until Stern and his partner in crime Clay Bennett stole them from Seattle. Now I can't root for them at all.

Favorite non Celtic players to watch:

1. Chris Paul
2. Deron Williams
3. Al Jefferson
4. Danny Granger
5. Chris Bosh

Least Favorite players:

1. Rip Hamilton
2. Bruce Bowen
3. Mike Bibby
4. Manu Ginobili
5. Jason Kidd

Grizlies- They're my local team now that I live in Northwest Mississippi. They're young and talented. Remind me a little of the Celts in 2006-2007.

Heat- I'm a big Dwade fan.

Raptors- They're a lot of fun to watch when the threes are falling. Also, Bosh is the best power forward in the league whose name doesn't end in -can or -net. There was a rumor this summer that He might try to sign with Orlando when he's a free agent. If that happens, LeBron might never get a ring.

Twolves- Not only is it the Minnesota Celtics, but they might actually be really good this year.

OKC- I like Durant, Collison is underrated. And I watched two of there preseason games, Russell Westbrook can flat out play!

Ditto.

It gets frustrating.

This year it'll be Portland. As for other teams, I don't really have any that I enjoy watching, rather players. Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Dwyane Wade, Allen Iverson and before he came here Kevin Garnett.

I loved "seven-seconds-or-less" Phoenix though. Such a shame they never won a title.
