I'm pretty thankful to those sites right now. My entire Itunes library was lost with my hard drive a couple months ago If it weren't for Imeem I wouldn't have much music anymore. Only thing I've really got to complain about is that it's really hard to find certain songs in full.
I'm curious what site allowed to recover even a tenth of your music collection... the Major sites, in most cases, don't allow you to download (i.e. myspace, purevolume, Ilife ect.)
I just wish there was still a site out there that allowed local artists an opportunity to shine... Being the #1 pop-punk band or hip hop artist in your town, capital and then the state; it's the type of progressive accomplishment that is interesting.
