Rondo / House / Pruitt

That lineup up, to me, is, barring any major injury, a 100 % lock to win the title this year.

It remains to be seen but...not doing what you had to do to re-sign Posey might go down as one of Ainge's bigger mistakes and may be the difference between us winning one ring and possible three or four...

Because that team listed above is pretty much unstoppable.

For the record I also think that Posey was a fool not to take the three year deal here. He would have made close to what he's getting on the fourth year in NO somewhere after his three year deal played out.

he won't sniff a ring in NO. He stayed here, he probably sees two, maybe three more.

I'm sorry but, you just listed our roster minus Posey and that roster is lock to win the Finals?  With or without Posey the C's have a shot.  I actually think he'll be the one regretting he left not the other way around.  He will be overused in NO and out of the lineup sometime around December.

Or House, the money that would have gone to Posey is what covered both TA and House, so this speculation is somewhat pointless.  The possibilities of what could have, would have, etc. are endless, but not worth the time to list all of them.  This is our team, let's see what happens.

im pretty sure TA's money is bird right related, but its a mot point. I agree, any speculation like thi sis pointless.

I don't get this thread.  I think what the OP is trying to suggest is that the addition of minutes to Pruitt, Walker, Giddens and O'Bryant somehow takes this team from "contender" to "lock".   Which is silly.   Otherwise you could have just listed last year's team and said "if we had the same team as last year, we'd be locks to repeat".
