Hey guys, I don't reach milestones often so I thought I'd give some thanks now after post 2000 rather than wait a long while til my next one as I don't post at the rapid rate as some others or as much as I'd like to.

I'll start by thanking Jeff, CelticsBlog is the first and only website I post on. I once looked at that sort of thing as a little bit sad if truth be known, but CB - and the folks over here - reeled me in and often, there's no better place to come for an in depth discussion; whether it's about basketball, another sport, fruit wars or Star Wars, CB has it all and it's a great online community which I'm proud to be a part of and thoroughly enjoy posting on.

A few names which have stuck, in no particular order, ACF, Roy Hobbs, Edgar, Redz, Bob Day, nickagneta, Bahku, dark_lord, Jsaad, SShoreFan, Wdleehi, Big Ticket, Who, Gainesville Celtic, Dons, IP and the authors Steve Weinman and FLCeltsFan (love your work) - a big thanks to all of you (and I've missed a few names, forgive me, it was my birthday on Saturday) not just from me but on the behalf of everyone at CB because you're the definition of good people and great fans, together we represent our team impeccably. Pat yourselves on the back guys.

I'm not a big poster but I have been around here lurking in the shadows for some time (sounds kind of creepy when I put it like that).  Over the time, certain posters tend to stand more than others for whatever reason.  It may be because you tend to agree with their opinions, fresh perspective from that of your own, or the way they articulate their arguments. Either way, you are one that stands out in my opinion.  So here is a thanks back at ya...

Happy birthday BTW

Congrats on 2000, CM.  You're definitely one of the posters who has made his mark on this site.  Your insight, savvy fake drafting skills, and love for Man Utd are all much appreciated, and go noticed on a daily basis.

Here's to 2000 more.  Cheers!

(And happy birthday, as well.)

I logged on this morning and when I read the header I figured it was a tip of the hat for the Sox (ugh), but instead I was pleasantly surprised by the content of the thread.

Congrats on the 2000 posts, thanks for the mention, but more than that thanks for stating everything I feel as well.

Still chuckling about the Star Wars vs fruit wars line.

Congrats Maestro & well said.  I hear ya about "finding this sort of thing as a little bit sad if truth be known".  I too am "monogamous" with my posting and never expected to get all of the peripheral bonuses that come along with being a part of this community.  (I feel like I'm a CelticsBlog anonymous meeting - "Hi my name is Redz and I'm a CelticsBlog-aholic"...)

Always enjoy your posts and your sense of humor.

Yup

Glad to see everyone on the same wavelength. Thanks for the bday wishes and the congrats. As for the Fantasy league, kw10, I think we Hustlers are set for glory despite having the last pick in the draft.

CM, you're truly one of our finest.  Always a pleasure to read your thoughts, and I'm glad you're long back from your brief summer absence.

Thanks for the shout-out, too.  :D
