One of my favorite thing to do with these video games is act like a GM and redo my roster.  Keep in mind, I made myself in the game (and made myself the best player in the league  ;D, even if I'm coming off the bench!)  So I kind of cheated, and released Scalabrine withuot any cap penalties.  But heres what I made the celtics given the current celtics roster (minus scalabrine).

PG: Rondo/ Justice/ Kyle Lowry
SG: Ray Allen/ Justice/ Rudy Fernandez/ JR Giddens
SF: Paul Pierce/ Rudy Fernandez/ Bill Walker
PF: Kevin Garnett/ Sean Williams/ PJ Brown
C: Kendrick Perkins/ PJ Brown/ Glen Davis

I also got myself Memphis's first round pick...tell me what you think, and if you guys play around with the roster with trades/free agents, id love to see what other celticbloggers got going.

I do the same thing. except i never pick the celtics to play the association. i usually pick teams randomly just to see what i can do with what i've been given. one thing i really like about 2k9 is that trading process has gotten tougher.. this makes things challenging and more realistic.

I've been playing 2K9 at my friends house and haven't seen Giddens or Walker on there, did you create them or did I just not look for them?

Who is Justice?

Justice is my created player version of myself (i mentioned that at the top of the post), Giddens and Walker are both on my roster for ps3, i don't know if they came over with the living roster update, but the first time i played the game they were on there.

The Association mode is effing awesome in this game, I have been clamoring for years to have more of the CBA in these games, I never figured it should be that hard to add it, but finally I get what I want. I usually do fantasy drafts, and then work with what I get, simulating for usually about three seasons before I finally start playing the games. They certainly knocked this one out of the park...I mean they have "Bird Years"...how cool is that?
Lookin' at my Gucci, and it's about that time...

Billy Walker is in 2k9, i got him on my roster.

However, it was another Walker who stole the show in the OKC Thunder's last game - old employee #8.  'Toine came off the bench early and often for a struggling predrag stojakovic and kevin love and lit it up for 12 points (mind you i only play 7 min quarters).

*Just to keep things real, and since he was on a tear, i made sure 'Toine jacked up a 3-ball early in the shot clock and while he was covered.  The ill-advised shot clanged off the rim, hopefully he's learned his lesson.

Oh and PS, after his biggest hoop of the game on a fast break, 'Toine did a little dance move to fire up the crowd on his back back down the court; unforunately, the move did not resemble the pattented Walker Wiggle.
