Okay, 3 innings down, no score.  Let's get something going here, boys.

Weak run, but I'll take it.

Hopefully this gets him going for the rest of the playoffs.

Ideally, he will get a big hit in the 9th against K-Rod. That would be perfect.  :)

No no no...Ideally he hits a grand slam next inning and the rest of the game is a laugher.  I dont exactly feel like sitting on the edge of my seat lol

Why did Masterson replace Delcarmen as our second in command in the bullpen in the playoffs. Delcarmer has better stuff and has been through this before last postseason with better results. If we lose tonight we are screwed and we may know a little about what the Yankees felt blowing a series lead you shouldn't blow. Though the Yankees choke is still considerably worse.

Masterson is better then MDC.  but it should have been pap with 2 outs in the 8th.

I don't but that at all. I'll take the more live fastball than the soft-stuff Masterson throws. And even if it is a wash, Delcarmen has been in these situations more often so I trust him more. Either way, neither is an ideal 8th inning guy to me.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
That play wasn't even close, Varitek had him by a mile, he tagged him whether he holds onto the ball after taking two steps and falling over is irrelevant. Sox are about to score in the bottom of the 9th.

Love it.  This is why postseason baseball is the best.
