  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
POB is looking great not good. The talent definitely isn't an issue and the effort does seem to be either, at least not today.

i cant watch the game, so tell me someone...

does POB look soft or he is playing with passion?

yeah, yeah, only 1/2 of a preseason game, but i am curious.

thanks in advance.

What a nice start for POB.  What hasn't he done?  Rebounds, blocks, a fine bullet pass to Miles for a lay-up, good outlets, aggressive D, finish the alley-opp impressively.  I'd like to hear from the POB nay-sayers just to hear if any of them are impressed with the performance tonight or if they are not surprised by it and expect him to falter.

He looks good on offense and ok on defense.

he looks like he'll be an adequate back up at the very least if this isnt just some preseason fluke.  He has rebounded well.  Done a good job finishing around the basket.  Blocked a few shots.  Cant ask for more from your back up.

Yes I agree, the guy has been active. His length and size has me thinking he would peak the highest of all the new arrivals. If he brings it like he has so far tonight he will more then exceed the value of his contract.

He looks good on offense and ok on defense.

But his "ok" on D has nothing to do with effort...

I noticed one blitz in the half where his timing was a bit off and he overcompensated getting back.... But yes "OK" is fair.

yeah I mentioned earlier that he looked lost on a couple of his rotations, but he is still learning a new defense, so I'll cut him some slack in regards to that.

As much as I love what I see from POB tonight, there's no debate as to who will fill the starting lineup. We won a title with them and we'll do it again this year with the same 5.

Nah way too early to start that stuff.

However even if it gets to that, I like having a bull in the paint playing next to KG in the starting lineup.  So Perks not going anywhere IMO.

Having an offensive center coming off the bench would be SOO awesome though.  It keeps opposing defenses off balance.  Kind of like bringing a lights out shooter in Eddie House in for Rajon Rondo.
